His manager, Wassim Slaiby, made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, writing "I want to thank my brother The Weeknd for his generous and classy act, donating $ 300,000 to the 'Global Aid' campaign for Lebanon."
He went on to encourage fans to donate what they can, writing: "Give what you can and let us repost so that the world can come together to help Lebanon out of this devastating tragedy."
