China starts building 'Anti-Covid' smart city

The Covid-19 case and pandemic management has 'inspired' Chinese science and technology to start building an 'Anti-Covid' smart city with a neighborhood that aims to make people's lives easier, in case of possible future pandemic outbreaks.

The neighborhood is part of the project for Xiong'an New Zone, a mega-city near Beijing that 'imitates' London in size. The project includes the construction of wooden houses, gardens for the cultivation of plants and vegetables on the roofs of palaces, renewable energy, large balconies, buildings with spaces and distancing, etc.
