5 blue diamonds, with transparency and shine were found in South Africa, in the Cullinan mine, 40 km east of the capital Pretoria. Their weight ranges from 9.61 to 25.75 carats
Blue diamonds are thought to belong to the rarest group of gemstones, as there are no official statistics on them.
The last significant discovery of blue diamonds in this mine dates back to September of a year ago, with a sample of 20.08 carats, which was bought for 12.6 million euros by an anonymous buyer.
