Renowned basketball player Pau Gasol honored the memory of his teammate and friend Kobe Bryant, naming his newborn daughter Elisabet Gianna Gasol.

"Our little one is here with us! The birth went really well and we could not have been happier! "Elisabet Gianna Gasol, a very meaningful name for our super beautiful girl!" Paul Gasol wrote on Instagram.

Renowned basketball player Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, tragically passed away after a helicopter crash in January this year.
