Taylor Swift leaves behind Whitney Houston, breaking the world record
Taylor Swift enjoys the title of female artist who has mostly dominated the "Billboard" top list of the 200 best albums, as during her career so far she has remained in first place for a full 47 weeks. In the past, this record was held by music icon Whitney Houston, who achieved this success in 1987 with her second studio album, "Whitney".
Swift's latest album, Folklore, returned to the top of the Billboard charts this week, after selling 87,000 extra copies.
"Folklore" also holds the record for the only non-R&B or hip-hop album by a female artist, which has marked such a success, since the launch of the album "25" by music star Adele.
