Offensive to the Muslim community at her fashion show, Rihanna apologizes
Rihanna has apologized for the incident that took place during her lingerie collection show, where the models danced to the rhythm of the song "Doom", which was mixed with some sacred Islamic verses of the Muslim hadith. Immediately after the fashion show, comments against the singer erupted on social networks.
"I would like to thank the Muslim community for pointing out a big detail that was inadvertently offensive in our show. "Most importantly, I would like to apologize for this big mistake, but without purpose", the singer wrote initially.
"We understand that we have been hurt by many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and I am deeply saddened by this. I do not play with any kind of disrespect to God or any religion and I know that putting the song in our project was completely irresponsible. We will make sure that nothing like this happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding ", the music star concluded the comment.
