One day as prime minister / Sanna Marin leaves the country to a 16-year-old from southern Finland
Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin has symbolically left power to a 16-year-old girl as part of a promotional campaign for girls' rights.
16-year-old Aava Murto, originally from Vaasky, a small town in southern Finland, will address some MPs as well as the Minister of Development and Foreign Trade with a greeting speech in the afternoon.
During her meetings, the high school student, who is actively campaigning for climate issues and human rights, also aims to talk about the innovative power of young people.
"I think young people can teach adults to be more innovative and think more about the future," said the 16-year-old.
