Here are how many minutes of physical activity you need to do to boost your immunity naturally
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that adults do at least 150 - or, better yet, 300 - minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week in order to increase the body's ability to fight the risks of heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer or even depression. This advice is even more important during a pandemic. You can choose to do some exercises indoors or even outdoors, without special equipment and without space limitation.
Prolonged sitting and low level of physical activity can have negative effects on health, well-being and quality of life, so exercise is a necessity to strengthen the immune system naturally.
What you can do:
-Aerobic activities: cycling, sports and active games
- Running or brisk walking
- Exercises to strengthen muscles at least 3 days a week
- Jump rope
