The holiday season and the end-of-year celebrations are always a season from which we return with more pounds as we all exaggerate a bit with eating. If you feel oversaturated and tired of abundant foods, now is the time for a little cleansing and detoxification of the body. Ginger tea is one of the best herbal detoxifiers, which will help you get rid of excess toxins from the body.
In addition to its detoxifying powers, ginger is also an effective medicine in case of joint pains, headache, cough and cold. Just add a little minced ginger to a tea or soup.
Prepare ginger tea
-Cut the ginger into thin slices considering that for a cup of tea you need 4-5 slices.
-Boil the water for as many cups as you want, add the ginger slices after it has boiled and reduce the heat to a minimum.
-Boil until you start to feel the aroma of ginger.
-Sweeten as you wish with a little honey or sugar. You can also add a little lemon to remove the typical spicy taste of ginger.
- You can choose to serve it hot or even cold as it can be left in the fridge and drunk continuously for 3-4 days.
