Greta Thunberg will be the image of the Swedish postage stamps
Adolescent environmental activist Greta Thunberg has been chosen to appear on a Swedish postage stamp, which will go on sale on Thursday.
"The stamp is part of a series entitled 'Valuable Nature', which focuses on the environment and environmental goals set by the Swedish parliament," said the postal services company PostNord.
The 18-year-old in recent years has become one of the most powerful voices for planet protection and climate change.
"The designs should reflect our time, where the environmental issue has been highlighted for years through the strong voice of Greta Thunberg," Stina Olofsdotter of PostNord Stamps said in a statement.
