"Marubi", part of the 50 most innovative museums in Europe
“Revisiting Museums of Influence. Four decades of Innovation and Public Quality in European Museums ”has presented the portraits of 50 European museums, for the innovative approach to cultural heritage and its transmission to the public, in the last 40 years.
Part of this list is also the national museum of photography "Marubi". "Marubi" is the first museum of photography in Albania, as well as one of the richest in the Balkan region, dating to a period from the end of the XIX century to the end of the XX century.
Part of the classification are museums like the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands; MuCEM- Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations in France; The British Galleries at the Victoria and Albert Museum in the UK; Museum of Broken Relationships in Croatia; War Childhood Museum in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
