Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez will sing at Biden's inauguration
Famous singer Lady Gaga has been chosen to perform the US National Anthem during the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Joe Biden, next week in Washington.
The news was announced by the inaugural committee, which among other things clarified that one of the artists who will perform during the swearing-in ceremony will be Jennifer Lopez.
Gaga and Lopez were among many American artists who were in full support of the Biden-Harris presidential duo during the general election.
The inaugural committee also announces that Andrea Hall, a career firefighter from Fulton County, Georgia, will lead the Loyalty Oath, and Amanda Gorman, the first winner of the National Youth Poet, will recite a poem.
Unlike other years the event is expected to have few participants due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing measures.
