Claudia Schiffer / Super Model of all time today celebrates her 50th birthday
Claudia Schiffer, the model who has 700 Covera magazines on her shoulders, one of the most famous in the world, a long list of commercials, prestigious fashion shows and unforgettable moments in the history of fashion, celebrates its 50th anniversary today.
Together with Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, e Christy Turlington has been part of the famous group "Big Six", models that we can fearlessly call the fashion queens of the '90s.
In an interview on the occasion of the 50th anniversary in Vogue Italy, the fashion icon says:
Being part of the "Big Six" band was a special feeling, we felt like Rock Star.
We were present in all the magazines of the world, in all the main advertisements. We lived enjoying every moment but at the same time we had a strict control over our career. Although there was professional rivalry between us, we also had a great team spirit.
We helped each other and were not afraid to express our opinions.
If it happened that one of us had an unpleasant experience, or was not treated with due respect, we would gather together and react, we always managed to change things. "Even today, when we meet girls, we feel like time has not passed."
In 2017, the publishing house Rizzoli New York publishes the book with the most special and beautiful photos from the career of the famous model. Claudia herself described it as a very beautiful collection and works with the best photographers in the world for the time. It is very difficult to choose between them, but still Claudia has a slightly more special memory and more for the heart.
One of the most beautiful memories was the experience with the German photographer Ellen von Unwerth in Paris when I was only 17 years old.
She was at the beginning of her career and so was I. We had a great time together, we worked, we had fun, we walked.
