Internationally renowned stylist Elie Saab has decided to give up Couture Collection Week in Paris after Lebanon imposed strict blocking measures to fight the coronavirus.
"The Haute Couture collection is ready, but the shooting is quite complicated. We decided to take a short break and wait for the right time to shoot and present the collection to the public ", said the executive director of the well-known brand.
"Honestly, the risk is very high and for us, no matter what we are doing, safety comes first, especially the safety of our employees," he added. The company has a staff of more than 400 employees.
