The Balkan Film and Culinary Festival in Pogradec kicks off on Sunday
The 10th edition of the Balkan Film and Culinary Festival kicks off in Pogradec on Sunday, amid protection measures against Covid-19.
Pogradec has opened its doors to host directors, producers and actors from all over the Balkans.
The coastal city will be the capital of Balkan cinematography for a week from 13-17 September.
The event, which has already become a tradition, but which this year will take place in the measures of compliance with security protocols against Covid-19, aims to highlight the achievements of contemporary Balkan cinema and create spaces for interaction between filmmakers.
More than 40 feature films and documentaries, by established and young producers and directors will be shown to the Pogradec public and tourists in the city cinema.
While part of the Festival will be the traditional cooking or cuisine of Pogradec that is known for its special taste and recipes.
