Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Time magazine's "Personalities of the Year"
US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have been named "Personalities of the Year" by Time magazine, following their victory over Donald Trump.
Joe Biden, who will be sworn in as U.S. president on Jan. 20, and Kamala Harris, were selected before several other finalists, including the movement against racial inequalities caused by the death of George Floyd in late May in Minneapolis, Dr. Anthony Fauci and health personnel against coronavirus and Donald Trump.
The cover of the magazine shows an image of Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris, titled "Changing America's History."
"To change the history of America, to show that unity wins over division, to offer a vision of healing in a sad world, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are for Time magazine the personalities of 2020," the magazine said.
