Famous Afghan writer Rahnaward Zaryab passed away
Well-known Afghan writer and activist Rahnaward Zaryab has passed away at a hospital in Kabul due to health complications after being affected by Covid-
Zaryab is regarded as a contemporary writer with a very large and influential influence in Afghanistan and has served as editor-in-chief of Tolo TV, the country's largest broadcaster.
"Professor Rahnaward Zaryab has spent many years of his life as a writer, novelist, media executive and cultural activist of the country and has left behind a valuable legacy. His death is a great loss in the literature and culture of the country." stressed President Ashraf Ghani in a statement.
