Journey to Scotland / William and Kate are at the center of criticism
Prince William and his wife Kate have been at the center of media and public criticism because of the trip they took on Monday at a time when the country is experiencing a second phase of the virus and movements are restricted.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge began their journey on Monday on a "royal train" dedicated to the British royal family, and traveled to Scotland, where they met with health staff in Newbridge, near Edinburgh.
Local governments booked a moderate reception for the couple with Welsh Health Minister Vaughan Gething.
During their three-day trip across the country, they planned to travel more than 2,000 kilometers, meeting with front-line workers facing the pandemic and residents.
